In 1749 (Kan'en 2), our founder Gonemon Mokichi Otou opened a shop named "Kotobuki-ya." For 276 years since, here in Asakura, Fukuoka, we have traded in yukata, towels and bedding. Holding our own warehouse stock, we can move quickly on "just the shortfall" or "a small quantity" — the strength of a local wholesaler.
